OUR CLUB PROGRAM
Increase girls’ interest and engagement in math by boosting their academic confidence through authentic learning opportunities using a financial literacy-based curriculum by bringing Fly Math Club to your school. We empower girls in grades 6th-8th to become academic risk-takers by engaging them in experiential learning experiences that integrates financial literacy. We welcome girls from all academic performance levels and backgrounds. Therefore, club members don't have to be a math whiz to participate in Fly Math Club programs. However, every girl must be willing to put forth effort in all tasks and exhibit a growth mindset.
We offer ten engaging meeting topics.
Our lessons align with common core state standards and Jumpstart personal finance standards.
START A CLUB CHAPTER
We offer one season of Fly Math Club each year. The season runs from January to April, with members meeting weekly for 90 minutes led by trained club advisors. The program culminates with the girls being academically and emotionally prepared to showcase their math and financially literacy skills during our celebratory Girls Love Math 2 Summit.
October-November: Prospective club advisors register their chapter site.
November-December: Parents register their daughter during open enrollment.
January-April: Club advisors lead weekly sessions and girls boost their math confidence.
April: Club members attend the celebratory culminating summit.
Register a new chapter
There is no startup fee for a new club chapter. Our current program fee is $150 per student per club season.
Financial aid may be available based on students' eligibility for free or reduced lunch programs. Our priority is to ensure every girl believes that she is able and capable of achieving success in math, regardless of whether or not her family can afford to pay the full program fee.
While we do our best to accept as many interested girls as possible, the availability of financial assistance depends on funding. We also offer parents the option to pay registration fees in two installments.
